Considering Fearless (TV) has only recently gone silver for 60k sales, Red (TV) doing that in 1 week is amazing. So glad we are getting new hits from the album rather than the just having IKYWT/WANEGBT/22 charting again. Hopefully this version will stick around for the season.

I don't disagree with that. I wasn't singleing out Taylor Swift, I said earlier I don't like any artist doing it. I would prefer to see an artist at number one with real sales, not fake ones.

Well the charts and how they operate right now is probably not the place for you then?

 

The average artist releases 7-10 formats per week of a new release to encourage multiple purchase (including signed copies), then there is HMV signings, intimate shows with entry via purchasing another copy, personalised signings via Banquet, midweek price cuts etc etc.,

 

Week after week after week this happens - fake sales all round.

Your think that being a chart forum everyone would be delighted that sales are high! People only moan about things like this when it suits their agenda! Well done Taylor

He did do it though? 99p signed CD singles for Bad Habits, Shivers and Overpass Graffiti (I’m sure OG added 30k in sales due to this?) and I happily bought them all.
