I considered We Are Family, but if the remix is considered a separate song to the original and definitive version, that can wait for another 3 years :) Peter Kay's Britain's Got The Pop Factor... (or whatever it was called) is the only previous time I'd heard of (Do) The Hucklebuck.

I knew 2U would only get 1 point from me. Underrated song.

Psycho is the only other song left I could have voted for.

Alicia Keys & Usher-My Boo is the only significant loss
Sad I've lost one song already - '(Reach Up For The) Sunrise' was such a big comeback single for Duran Duran, can't believe no one else gave it any points!

Animotion - Obsession

Badfinger - No Matter What

Steps – When I Said Goodbye / Summer of Love

I thought this was the sort of cheesy 80s pop that would have done a bit better than one vote. It was the only top 75 single for Animotion. We also have some classic rock from Badfinger and the first of two Steps singles that received votes.

Obsession is great. It’s basically a human league classic in the making
None of my votes have dropped out yet :cheer: I do like the Basement Jaxx remix of '4 My People' a lot though.

Apache Indian - Boom Shack-A-Lak

Ian Brown - Dolphins Were Monkeys

Mis-Teeq - B With Me

The Rolling Stones - Angie

Usher - U Got It Bad

Frankie Valli - My Eyes Adored You

From 1975, this was a US number 1 for Frankie Valli. Three Usher singles received votes but they've all gone out after just two days. The Rolling Stones were assured of a place in the final after Jason gave his 30 points to Angie but he then changed his mind, reducing his score for the song to two points.

Aggro Santos featuring Kimberly Wyatt - Candy

Friday Hill - Baby Goodbye

The Game featuring 50 Cent - How We Do

Al Martino - Spanish Eyes

Bette Midler - Wind Beneath My Wings

Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen - Good Time

Spandau Ballet - To Cut A Long Story Short

From 1980, this was the debut single by Spandau Ballet and one of their best. Al Martino had the first UK number 1 single in 1952 with Here In My Heart. He recorded Spanish Eyes in 1965 but it wasn't a top 5 hit until 1973. Perrobueno gave 7 points to Don't Wanna Let You Go by Five but checking now, I see it only got to number 9.

Ah, 'To Cut A Long Story Short' is the first of my votes to drop out now. Glad Jim voted for it too so it wasn't just me!
First loss for me too, great song! Think there's at least one of mine which no one else voted for later on.

Argent - Hold Your Head Up

J Balvin and Willy William - Mi Gente

Heaven 17 - Come Live With Me

Jamelia featuring Beenie Man - Money

Enrique Iglesias featuring Ludacris & DJ Frank E – Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)

Marillion - Lavender

Terrorvision - Perseverance

I lose the first two from my own vote. The Heaven 17 and Marillion songs were both follow-ups to number 2 singles, Temptation and Kayleigh respectively. We also have the classic rock song from 1972 by Argent. For The First Time by The Script scored 8 points but it got to number 4. Dot is not fully to blame here as it does appear on the Buzzjack list of number 5s.

I noticed a few songs on the playlists which peaked higher at some point (Rembrandts are another and they had 2 voters). I'll aim to do some QC for #6s and below when I listen through those in advance of future polls. For The First Time is my favourite Script song though!
Not much that I've heard from today's dropouts, 'Angie' is my fave of the ones I have so boo hiss at Jason changing his vote x
I knew I'd be the only voter for Friday Hill, I still love that whole album - it was Blazing squad mark 2 even though it sounds nothing like Blazing Squad!
Didn't get round to voting in this so far but 'To Cut A Long Story Short' is great and a lot better than their bigger hits imo.
