The delegates of Fljótavík are delighted to welcome you back to Mílanó. It has been many years since we last hosted the song contest and we are very happy to be putting that right in 2025.

The contest will be commencing today with the confirmations and we welcome everyone to join us over the next few weeks to battle it out and see who can inherit the crown from Ninajirachi, following Infohazard's record breaking performance in Morpeth Cove.

We don't wish to bore you with rules, however there are a few things that we would like you to remember:

Everyone is welcome. Except for you Ben's Sanctuary. Sadly you missed the opportunity to give Ninajirachi 18 points last time around and as such are banned from participating.

Please avoid entering any of the acts who graced the podium in Morpeth Cove; these are Ninajirachi, Miss Luxury and Belén Aguilera. Whilst not strictly against the rules, the general consensus appears to be that sending an artist that has already finished top 5 this year may also be heavily side eyed. I may have ruined that for everyone.

As hosts, Fljótavík will be taking advantage of the opportunity to auto qualify for the final. Should there be an even number of visitors to our fine land then we will be delighted to offer the same to Kathaldazia as reward for Miss Luxury's stunning entry last time around.

Fljótavík will remain open to visitors until 23:59 on Thursday 28th August. At this point all entry points will be closed for the contest to enable the show to begin for the weekend.

If Addy wanted to share his list with me then I'd be happy to double check whether there are any clashes, I don't typically enter Nuggets so it wouldn't be a problem. I'd leave it up to the mods here to decide whether they felt it would affect anything in the veto process.
