...and so we do! I had a feeling that might be about to happen, was thinking Mothertopia were definitely the more likely to qualify from the last two in semi 1 and the other pair felt like a 50/50. On paper Jenny On Holiday feels like she should be a safe qualifier but I can see that having been one that got lots of small points but not enough big points (I normally love Let's Eat Grandma but this song didn't wow me sadly) whereas Belle And Sebastian I think will have got a few higher scores.

Well! I just had a quick dig and appears this is the first time since BJSC 153 that I've got a clean sweep of my votes through. In all of that time I've also not had the entirety of my top 10 of the opposite semi qualify either, and that nearly also happened this month - will edit in my finalised rankings after doing a relisten but almost certainly got 9/10 of my top 10 of semi 1 through because as it stands A-Konohagakure (4th) are the only one of my entire top 15 that DNQed (Lookylion being next at 16th currently). Coming to have quite a few harsh cuts from my final votes

I feel that a few of these required my points in order to make it as they felt quite borderline. I'd put my entry in the borderline Q category too - happy on this occasion to have a clearly favourable semi when I feel that the reverse has happened to me more often lately!

Very unlucky for Cumulonimbia, I wouldn't have called that being lost at all. Agree with Bré, as indeed I gave it some of those lower points, it was one of those songs that is easily a lot of people's 10th faves unfortunately. Got to have been quite close to the line too with 45 points.
