To answer Taylor Swift fans' question, 'Look What You Made Me Do' is chart ineligible this week and would fall to #66 in today's mids without the artist cap ruling.

 

We should be lucky there is an artist cap though otherwise there is a takeover of Sam Smith and Dave in the top 100.

tbh I think No Words will last more than a week in the top 40, it's got Hot Hits support and is staying put on Spotify so I don't see why not

Hopefully Sheridan picks up that special was amazing (also think that’s the most emotional version of And I’m Telling You I’ve seen)

I guess that Sheridan thing will be pimped to silver level by Xmas no matter what.

I hope Stereophinics haven’t fallen too far down! Hopefully their performance on Strictly last night will help them hold up this week!

Great to see St Vincent top 40 again following Graham Norton! Mariah anywhere in the top 100?

I was disappointed with the drop for Steps this week, but expected it as the multi format version would have stood to them last week. That said, their drop doesn't look as bad when i saw how far Kelly Clarkson dropped. I would hope the upcoming Graham Norton performance will reverse her fortunes next week.

 

So thrilled for the Roy Orbison album, i would much prefer to see this number 1 than Sam Smith. I do feel the Roy Orbison album will be a big seller through Christmas.

 

Mixed week for Little Mix, the single re enters the top 10 and Get Weird re-enters the album chart, but Glory Days suffers one of its biggest declines since its release. I suspect this may be due to word spreading of the re-release and people are holding of purchasing.

 

What has caused the big album climb for Harry Styles???He is now ahead of Niall Horan :cry:

 

Solid start to the week for Bryan Adams considering its just a re-hash of previous Greatest Hits albums by him, i would welcome him holding a top 10 position at the end of the week.

 

I had thought Maroon 5 would manage a top 10 position in the album chart but this looks very unlikely now :angry:

Pleasingly low position for Maroon 5's album, let this spell the end of their relevance pls.

Maybe if this Maroon 5 album bombs, they’ll start getting back to their roots and not releasing crap music. The album is growing but it probably won’t ever be more than their worst one for me. Loving Pink’s staying power with her album though.
