If you had been bothered to read the previous pages, you’ll have seen some quite insightful and interesting posts about ageism and sexism within the music industry and particularly Radio 1. It’s actually been a fairly decent discussion contrary to what we usually get in this part of the forum. So what is people are excited about Kylie going top 10? It hasn’t happened for over a decade. Your dull faves are almost constantly making the top 10 with every release. We roll our eyes when they release the CDs because we know it makes the difference whether they get to no.1. As you’ve pointed out many times, Kylie often does the same to no effect so why can’t her fans be excited when it finally might make a difference? Especially considering how hard the song has had to fight to get even this high?
