Predictions: looking at Spotify alone, I estimate that over two days, Wham! are up 2300 sales from last week and Gracie is down 1700. That’s a 4,000 gain - out of a total of 5,200 needed. I’m sure they will have made those extra sales from the other platforms already.

I guess the question then is will Wham! drop compared with last week from Sunday - Wednesday/Thursday, and if so, by how much? I’m estimating they were down 1,500 sales due a drop in Spotify sales between the first and second week of December last year.

I’d say there is a good chance of Wham! being number 1 this week. I think it’s highly likely that they will be number 1 this evening, but I’m looking forward to seeing the sales.

‘A Nonsense Christmas’ done almost 300k on Spotify yesterday, also remembering that has the boost of being on SCR, I think that could go top 10 this year

True, but it's not in the top 100 on Apple music

Imagine if they surprise drop that on Christmas week and it becomes a totally unexpected Christmas number one. I wish record companies had the balls to do that sort of thing!

I think if they release it this year to streaming, that'll be exactly the plan.

The anthology physicals have only just been released in regular shops, they were only available from her official store last week.

Ah that makes sense. Looking safe for another week in that case :D

The CD possibly will benefit a lot but HMV's price for the vinyl is horrendous!
Sabrina omg finally fruitcake getting some recognition! Some great modern Christmas songs on there, hope some can impact streaming too

And with the CD being £22. Problem is, people will still pay that price for a CD

Dont think its that expensive if you factor it has 40 tracks

Billie nearly costed the same and it was 10 songs

Buy me presents needs its moment in the sun

I remember in the 00s and before that when the December charts weren’t clogged up with Christmas songs
Surprised Mariah’s ‘Merry Christmas’ is a no show, considering the re-issue and BBC 2 show with Rylan on Saturday. It seems to chart high every year in every country expect the UK

'Feliz Navidad' top 20, not sure it'll hold this week but it bodes well for its chances of getting there before the year is out!

Looks like 'The Sound Of Silence' avoided ACR and is on course for another increase this week, that should ensure it's still on SCR in January and maybe long into 2025 :kink:

Interesting to see Sabrina’s Xmas album doing something this year due to her success - nice to see. Predicted that in May when Espresso was no1
