Intrigued to see what this contest brings - I did indeed end up sticking with what was my 4th in line to pick for BJSC 182 which does worry my control freak of a brain a little bit because I’m usually attracted to shiny new toys but it’s a song that has stuck with me since hearing it in January so that speaks to its staying power and early hype from Jade and Brer is… unusual but re-assuring 😂

I’ve heard of 10 songs coming into this which is pretty decent. Yet another song I toyed heavily with sending - Freaky - shows here. Was probably 3rd choice for 181, after Dance The Pain Away so I’m sure it’ll be shown to me once again that I made the wrong choice position-wise with Anemos.

Of the others I’ve heard, I think Ojnoj and Mothertopia should do pretty well. And I’ve had Emilia songs in my back pocket for the past year too so I’m intrigued to see how she’ll do for Baleghde, that particularly choice is a good one too.

Ah I’m also familiar with La Playlist!! Bop alert !!! It’s a staple in my summer playlist. Should’ve kept it for a July contest 😝

After getting 0 final points from the previous two contests, this year in BJSC couldn't exactly get worse for me, but it certainly had a good go! I went for my first self-recycle as I'm hoping some might find this Cult Of Venus song a little more instant than 'Algorithm' from BJSC 175 - it has been on my potentials since the following contest, so for it to be confirmed before me in this of all contests was just my luck (I must have left one of my accommodations just before submissions opened), though Cheiron did give 18 to 'Algorithm' so it checks out - then when I had to resubmit, that song was already taken too although 'Starry Eyed' had only been on my potentials list since BJSC 181, it already has the feel of maybe another big hit I've missed out on, but I got the chance to send my original choice in the end!

There are a couple more artists here for whom I'd considered different songs, and I've also charted the Cumulonimbia, Danæviia and FARC entries so they can have some hype too.

Zephyra Continuum votes are in. This time it was easier for me to narrow it down to 10 than last time. Just needed some finetuning this morning.

Voted in Semi 1, there were 12 songs I really enjoyed so had to cut two but hope both make it. Some very nice discoveries in there.
