As long as they don’t break Bryan Adams’ and Wet Wet Wet’s records. Wet Wet Wet could’ve beaten Bryan Adams’ record but they had Love Is All Around removed from circulation because it was them themselves that got sick of being number 1

Debatable that wasn’t a marketing ploy to try and keep them at the top for a further week to break Bryan’s record as they knew what a threat Whigfield was for the #1 - there were still plenty of copies available in the shops as it’s chart run after the announcement was 2-4-8-16-21-35-39…..

From what I recall, this was more likely to be the case. Certainly at the time we felt it was a ploy that backfired.

Just spotted that Whitfield climbed from 219 to number 1 🤣 Loving this new update to the OCC page. Has anyone discovered an even larger jump to Number One?

Yeah Love Is All Around actually sold more copies the week it was knocked off the top than in any of its 15 weeks at number one! Think because of the ways the charts company separates import and official releases it'll be hard to find a bigger jump than that.

Drake's going to clog up the charts like a toilet over there. But that makes sense because his music is shit.

The way I actually screamed laughing! 😂🤣

I’m loving the success of Rein Me In! I’m hoping it can add to the number of records that it has broken. 🤣

Ironically one of the records it might have broken is most separate runs at #1 within a single chart run, had Drake replaced it for a week and it returned the week after - doesn't look like that'll happen now!

Still time with the big artists so far being 1 week wonders 😅

Hopefully Katy releases physicals for her greatest hits at some point, if it’s a quiet week it could be her first #1 since Prism

If Katy Perry’s streams are now being allocated to this hits collection, does that mean Teenage Dream will drop off the charts?

The 3 Drake tracks have sent Human Nature down to number 9 so Jacko's complete top 10 bingo card remains intact - for now.

It's a shame, albeit expected by now, that LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER didn't even make the midweek top 100. Not sure if this has happened for any UK entry since the OCC started publishing a midweek top 100 in late 2014 - even Michael Rice in 2019 made #100 in the Monday mids.

I’m surprised they done nothing with it - most ESC songs get a remix, Eurovision edit and for the past few years a physical release.

Bring back Sandie Shaw for Eurovision next year.
