Such a narrow gap between #2 and #5 right now.

Also, do you think that Mariah will be #1 this year at all?

Isn't the single out this Friday - is he holding back the CD singles? That's brave of him.

Just double checked and yes the CD is being held back to the 10th! Reckon there will be some Elton signed copies available as well.

Adele has done better than I thought, was worried she was going to do only 50-60k this week but it looks like she might up around 80k instead which is good going. Why is Ed waiting till the 10th for physicals? Is that the week of the Christmas chart? I thought it was later than that, seems an odd date to hold it back for if it’s not for the Xmas chart unless he’s worried he won’t beat Ladbaby

Actually, the 17th is the week the Christmas chart starts.

guess they fear they cannot beat LadBaby so better go for #1 the week before instead
Taylor to release signed CDs of Christmas Tree Farm and grab that Xmas #1 from Ladbaby and Ed/EJ :) ;)
Not to undermine Taylor's numbers but I want to know does she sell good amount of vinyls outside of release week?

She does extremely well! Red did 32.8k on vinyl this week which is enough to put her 9th on the list Bre posted of the biggest vinyl weeks ever! Also from what I've seen on twitter, the vinyl is sold out nearly everywhere and there aren't enough released right now to reach the demand of the amount of people that still want to buy!

It looks like Christmas Tree Farm could potentially become a top 20 hit this year

Good to see The Beatles’ final album Let It Be rise 33 places to re-enter the Top 40 at Number 30, thanks to the release of Peter Jackson’s Disney+ documentary series about the making of the album.
3 Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You (10.6k)

5 Wham! - Last Christmas (10.4k)

:puke2:

We didn't reach December, but there are already too many the same old Christmas songs in top 40.

150K vinyls of the Red TS re-issue in 2 weeks is incredible to see

especially considering it's super expensive (50$)

gotta love the new found love for vinyl

Great sales for Adele and higher than I thought she'd be on! It's quite possible she could reach 6 figures for a second week in a row!

Also it's going to be quite close for Adele's 1-2-3 possiblility. Whilst "Oh My God" and "I Drink Wine" should pull away from Mariah/Wham today/tomorrow, Wednesday is December 1st and usually sees a big surge for Christmas songs. Hopefully they fall a lot today/tomorrow to let Adele get the 1-2-3.

I cant see an Adele Top 3 in the singles, i think Wednesday and Thursday will be a big day for Christmas songs.
