The surprising thing about Northern Star is it started out at #10! It's fair to say it's one of those albums that recovered as the campaign went on - 'I Said Never Again' bumped it up to #5 later in its run and 'I Turn To You' gave it its #4 peak.

I Said Never Again?

Think your getting mel C and Rachel Stevens mixed up there

Don't you mean Never be the same again ?

Chemical Brothers 'Go' currently #64 in the mids wub would love this to belatedly become a top 40 hit so here's hoping the momentum continues.

The best non top 40 top 50 hit of the 2010s for me along with The Strokes - Under Cover of Darkness and Jessie Ware - If You're Never Gonna Move (110%)

It 's at #3 in the Big Top 40 which is cool, Capital should playlist it.

Disappointed Shakira not getting a credit on Eurosummer

It’s the way the occ works. Since there is a solo version already in the database from the albums original release that’s the credit they go with, unless a label specifically requests the credit like they did for Olivia dean on rein me in! Otherwise it’s just the first version to be released that gets the credit

Good to see Temper City in the top 40... although shame Bebe has dropped out - although I think that is now destined not to hit the top 40

Oh Noah lower thanexpected then, he probably will only pass Kacey, the top 3 are safe, so a guaranteed top 3 for Mel is awesome hopefully she can make it top 2

Nothing is even sniffing RMI is it 😅

Very solid for Kacey, hope she can hold top 5, it’s an excellent record! It does deserve a higher peak than deeper well but happy to see it in the top 5 currently, it’s a competitive week! I reckon Olivia & Noah are both likely to shake up that top 5 come friday

Certainly not dragging Sabrina, just making the point in defence of Madonna as there seems to be a lot of sniping towards her. If she got a new hit in the streaming era it would be great but shouldn’t be expected and that’s okay.

I totally agree! Some people are acting like Sabrina is doing charity, while it might help Madonna out on the charts a bit I’m sure getting to collaborate with the literal Queen of Pop is a dream come true for Sabrina.

I wonder if that'll be enough for Zara to beat her previous #36 peak in the albums?

The mess of this album release with the physicals released in different weeks - and in a really successful era for her and it’s looking like it’ll be her first to miss the Top 20 here.

Would love nothing more than to see Mel take the number 1. Mainly because I know how much it would mean to her.

Ugh Michaels gonna overtake them both by Friday isn’t he frankie

Hes nott slowing down, he actually made more in week 2 than week 1 at the world box office when he already had a record breaking week 1

Hes passing easy especially when you take into account Spotify is a day behind , he very well could already be ahead if Spotify was on time
