With one of them appearing in the next survivor... I've decided to create a James Bond singles poll and yes I've included Billie as hers has been the only one (and last one so far) in the 2020's anyway so figured it didn't matter too much here.

Am picking Billie too btw but I like the Adele, Jack and Alicia ones a lot also. Madonna and Chris's are fine but for the former a weak moment in her discography and Sam Smith.. nah lol.

'Die Another Day' is my favourite!

Chris Cornell - You Know My Name

Adele - Skyfall

Sam Smith - Writing's On the Wall

Jack White & Alicia Keys - Another Way to Die

Billie Eilish - No Time To Die

Madonna - Die Another Day

'You Know My Name' is a severely underrated banger. My favourite bond theme and one of my favourite songs, full stop.

'Skyfall' is excellent. 'Writings On the Wall' gets too much flack, but I think it's actually very clever in that they're duetting with themself. 'Another Way to Die', I don't go back to much but I feel it's also underrated. 'No Time To Die' does what Sam Smith did but less good. 'Die Another Day's is ok, but it's leagues below any of these and most of her own output.

I find most of them fairly mid to be honest but I’d say Adele’s is the clear standout. But like @Tafty , if I was asked to choose one to listen to, I’d probably go with Madonna’s hot mess 😂

My knee-jerk reaction was Alicia/Jack but quickly re-listened to my favourites and I think 'Skyfall' has actually held up better, so voted for Adele

Billie's is the best ahead of Skyfall, which is classic Bond theme. Another Way To Die is oddly fun, and I like the rest to some degree bar Writing On The Wall. Yes, I'll take Madonna's squelchy synth melody-lite effort over that one. Lana Del Ray's new one is good too. It is a Bond theme - just not a film theme!

Skyfall. I actually like them all although Billie is weirdly the one I'm least likely to listen to.

  1. Chris Cornell - You Know My Name (2006)- Favourite

  2. Madonna - Die Another Day (2002)

  3. Adele - Skyfall (2012)

  4. Billie Eilish - No Time To Die (2020)

  5. Sam Smith - Writing's On The Wall (2015)

  6. Alicia Keys & Jack White - Another Way To Die (2008)

For me it would be 'You Know My Name', then 'Die Another Day' which I quite enjoyed still do, then 'Skyfall' by Adele. The other two don't really hold it for me,

Lana's 'First Light' >> all of these, but 'Skyfall' doesn't sound too far out of place for Adele circa 21 and 25, so voted for that.

Chris Cornell is clearly the best. I think Alicia/Jack next which felt poor initially but it clicked with me after seeing the film. Adele, Sam and Billie are all technically good but I find them boring. Let’s get the latest in singer and have them drone on. Madonna’s is clearly bottom of the pile.

Oh yeah, if we were to include 'First Light', I'd probably have it last (I liked it enough to get a week at #40 in my chart, but I don't think I've listened to it since).

Maybe I need to give it more of a chance? From memory, it was fairly similar to Billie, so I suspect it would grow to about that level at a push...
