October 6, 201312 yr Fully expecting HAIM to enter number 1 for some reason. I think releasing "The Complete Collection" in the same week and not a couple of weeks after or something may have hindered part 2's chances of getting to number 1! Hopefully I'm wrong though.
October 6, 201312 yr It's sad to see La La La at #40. Might be its last week ever in the top 40. :( The song is really a masterpiece, and a song I'll listen to for the rest of my life. Surely not. 59p reduction could bring it back to the top 40, or it can be used in X Factor, Britain's got Talent, The Voice etc. In fact start of the new year with the gift vouchers it can rise again.
October 6, 201312 yr Maybe they're treating Lucy as a new entry, or Ylvis or Jasmine made the top 40. Or maybe you're right they have allowed Katy to chart after all. But why wasn't she allowed? Haven't heard anything about it
October 6, 201312 yr 38 (from 29) Arctic Monkeys - Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? The band consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, lead/rhythm guitar), Jamie Cook (rhythm/lead guitar), Nick O'Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals). Former member Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) left the band in 2006 shortly after their debut album was released. The band have released four studio albums: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006), Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007), Humbug (2009) and Suck It and See (2011), as well as one live album At the Apollo (2008). Their fifth album AM is set to be released in September 2013, their singles "R U Mine?" , "Do I Wanna Know?" and "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?" (released in February 2012, June 2013 and August 2013, respectively), will feature on the upcoming release. The band's debut album became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history, surpassing Elastica's self-titled album and remains the fastest-selling debut album by a group in the UK. The band have won five Brit Awards—winning Best British Group twice, and have twice been nominated for Grammy Awards. Arctic Monkeys were heralded as one of the first group of acts to come to the public attention via the Internet (fan-based sites rather than from the band), with commentators suggesting they represented the possibility of a change in the way in which new bands are promoted and marketed. The band are also regarded as one of the most prominent bands to be part of the post-punk revival in the UK, after achieving commercial success and spawning two number one singles with their debut album. - Wikipedia Chart history (Year peak title): 2005 01 I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor -1- 2005 01 When The Sun Goes Down -2- 2006 04 Leave Before The Lights Come On -NAS- 2007 02 Brianstorm -1- 2007 74 505 -AT- 2007 05 Fluorescent Adolescent -2- 2007 20 Teddy Picker -3- 2009 12 Crying Lightning -1- 2011 28 Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair -1- 2012 23 R U Mine? -1- 2012 21 Come Together -OST- 2013 11 Do I Wanna Know?-2- 2013 08 Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? -3- 2013 74 Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You -B side- Album Discussion Here
October 6, 201312 yr Hi, my name is What? My name is Who? My name is Chikka Chikka... Arctic Monkeys. Or not.
October 6, 201312 yr I'm really happy WYOCMWYH has held up well. I expected it to nose dive after the album release.
October 6, 201312 yr 'Why Do You Always...' has grown on me a lot more now. Still not a patch on the amazing 'Do I Wanna Know' though.
October 6, 201312 yr But why wasn't she allowed? Haven't heard anything about it  I'm not sure myself. Maybe it's because it's an album track and the OCC are only allowing 1 album track to chart before the thing is released (in this case Dark Horse is being allowed to chart). Hopefully we get some explanation.

October 6, 201312 yr It's an Artcic Monkeys double play, :cheer: Sadly this is probably the last week in the Top 40 for both tracks :(
October 6, 201312 yr I'm not sure myself. Maybe it's because it's an album track and the OCC are only allowing 1 album track to chart before the thing is released (in this case Dark Horse is being allowed to chart). Hopefully we get some explanation. Is that a real rule? That's most stupid rule ever if so. (and people here are complaining about rules of Hot 100... :P )
October 6, 201312 yr Is that a real rule? That's most stupid rule ever if so. (and people here are complaining about rules of Hot 100... :P ) I do not know, but it's the most likely explanation I can think of.
October 6, 201312 yr Is that a real rule? That's most stupid rule ever if so. (and people here are complaining about rules of Hot 100... :P ) That can't be a rule. People like David Guetta, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, etc. had all theirs charting.
October 6, 201312 yr Has it really been 4 months since "Do I Wanna Know?". :o Time is going by so fast. :( :cheer: @ "La La La" having another week in the top 40. :)
