Just realised that this will be the first time that 3 years in a row the Christmas Number 1 has mentioned the word Christmas or Xmas in its title - although the previous two Christmas Number 1s were based on songs that mentioned Christmas in their title, arguably making it 5 years in a row.

And the first time that the Christmas Number 1 has been a song about Christmas for five years in a row.

Even excluding LadBaby, it will equal the previous record of 3 consecutive years that songs about Christmas have been Christmas Number 1.

I only over view this forum as a guest, but feel the need to comment. There are hideously tone deaf comments in this thread. Fights over whether Kylie will go #1, when there is a superb cause fighting for the #1 - Together For Palestine. Put this energy into campaigning for that song to go #1 instead.

We can discuss the chart? Lullaby is terrible, great cause but terrible song so no I'd rather it didn't go to number one. There's plenty of ways to show support over downloading a 99p track.

This one has actual established popular musicians working on it and it is an original song (co-written by Peter Gabriel I believe) unlike Creator Universe which was a rubbish cover made by talentless idiots. Agree with the point about there being better ways to support though
