I have a playlist called BJSC Vote Potentials - once I've listened to the full playlist I transfer the ones that I thought were ok to that and then whittle it down from there - trying to have my last listen in vote order, though I always do it in reverse finishing with the best.

I copy always the whole spotify list into a private voting folder and in each listening circle I remove the songs I don't like that much. When I have narrowed it down to my voting candidates I start ordering. When ordering is finished I export it to csv via exportify and format it correctly in STATA. This list I copy into the pm and add the nations. Usually I am somewhat blinded to the nation responsible for the song.

I don't even listen to the playlist. I vote for the same countries every month. It saves hours of listening time.

I'm enjoying the mini trend from the last two contests of the final song in the running order having quite off kilter lyrics. Not sure Richard Dawson will quite capture the zeitgeist like Joshua did but we can dream x

(on a separate note, I discovered a new way of ranking: copying the Spotify playlist in the app and reordering the playlist in order of preference. Does anyone else do this? It's a great method if you want to rank blindly ).

I usually take the pre-made playlist and use the hide function for the songs I do'nt like and then play the playlist a few times before rating them on a scale of 1-10

I used my Facebook account to sign up for Spotify and didn't realize it would give me a randomized account name! It's giving :mathswoman:

Planning to send my votes later after a bit more of thinking and decorating my message. Gonna make my experience of 184 extra memorable and meaningful for myself.

I listen to the playlist and the ones I like I add to a separate playlist. I then go to the playlist I have made, listen to them and change the order to my ranking of them., listen to them again to make sure I’m happy with the order and then send my votes in.

I still use the YouTube links (even when I'm not on SyncTube) because I want to check out the videos lol. Mind you I usually only really pay attention to the videos that are interesting to me. Picture-in-picture is great though, so I can do other things on my laptop and still see the video in the corner.

The ranking is really intuitive / instinctive for me, I usually get that done fairly quickly but I do change things around after more listens.
